Select lots of fruit are allowed to ripen slowly, developing full flavors before being picked, lightly crushed and fermented in small open top fermenters. Inky and loaded with dark fruit - black raspberry, blackberry, boysenberry, plum, and even a bit of cassis, this wine is supported by significant tannic structure and the spicy notes provided by oak aging. From any point of view this is truly a beast of a wine.
